The committee met again and began the process of getting ready to send out a letter to our classmates in the near future.  From our initial post card mailing, we had some responses and had a bunch of rejected ones from classmates who have moved or worse yet, passed away.

On this initial mailing of post cards we found that we lost 32 more classmates since the last reunion.  That brings our total lost classmates to 286 out of a total of 775 classmates.  That rounds out at about 36%.

We have identified 64 deceased classmates which brings the total missing and deceased total to 350 or 45% of the class.

It's obvious that we are getting a smaller and smaller pool of our classmates each 5 year cycle.  It more important than ever at this point in time to try to find everyone we can and also, identify which ones have passed away and are not recorded on our rolls.

If you know of anyone who is listed as lost, or who has moved over the past, please let us know.

Our first mail out of post cards is in progress to give you a "heads up" about our initial phase of contacting all that we can so that we may see who's addresses are still valid and any other information about our classmates we can.  We hope that even if you are not planning to come to the next reunion that you will help us find those who we list as lost.  You may have information about deceased classmates that we don't have.

Your help is greatly appreciated in advance and each bit of information becomes the thread that holds our group together.

Start thinking about the upcoming reunion.  This year, I will not be actively engaged in preparation of the 2010 class reunion but will continue to maintain the website to post the status of our classmates (deceased, lost, etc...).  As I receive information from the reunion contacts I will update this database.

John Smith passed away today in San Antonio.  He had been in the hospital since June of this year with complications arising from heart surgery.  Our heartfelt grief goes out to his wife, Gail and their daughters.

On February 23, 2006, under legal advice, we removed all personal information on all classmates due to the liabilities imposed by the Privacy Act.  No information, other than name, status and class, will be posted on this website.  If you need to update your information or to ask a question pertaining to another classmate, please contact your class reunion representative.

All databases have been removed along with all registration and update forms.

We regret taking this action but we cannot afford the insurance necessary to protect ourselves from liable lawsuits.
