Remote Controls for Lincoln Vantage Series Welding Machines.

Since the introduction of the Vantage series welding machines we have had many, many requests to build a small remote amperage controller similar to our Pipeliner series...one that has both power and control in the same small hand control.

Sadly to say, we will not be making any Pipeliner style controls for the Vantage series.  The reason is simple:

Any failure of the remote control, extension cord or plugs/receptacles, in which 120 volt power is able to come into contact with the control circuitry of the machine WILL CAUSE CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE to the electronics within the machine.  Consequently, the costs of the machine repairs would be enormous and if the machine was still under warranty...THE WARRANTY WOULD BE VOIDED!

We may make a small hand control for the machine but it will not have the provisions for 120 volt auxiliary power within the hand control or control cord.

We are sorry to relay this information but the liability on our part is simply too great.  We do not advise any remote amperage controller with 120 volt power in the control cable bundle for these electronically controlled machines.
